The BBQL-Shell

A protective enclosure for RR-CirKits Breakout Quik-Link Board

Our IntuiSwitch-HQ controls work well with the Breakout Quik-Link board, Signal LCC, and Tower LCC from RR-CirKits Inc. However, the Breakout Quik-Link has exposed contacts that could be shorted by stray wires or metal surfaces on your layout. Our tech guy, Brad Levy, designed a solution: a non-conductive plastic BBQL-Shell which encloses the exposed contacts of the Breakout Quik-Link. The design is available under Creative Commons BY-SA terms so people can 3D print their own copies. Here is a free zip file containing the instructions and design files for 3D printing the enclosure yourself:
